This small hotel is quirky with very professional and helpful staff. The rooms are a nice size and brand-new here with a stunning view and TV, as example. They have a great selection of meals to choose from, the food is amazing.

The room was great-sized and wonderfully decorated, had a large bathroom. The breakfast had good choice of options and cereal and pastries were great. The location of the hotel was wonderful, within walking distance of the train station. Moreover, it's just next door to Rick Steves' Florence/Tuscany and a library of novels and helpful, up-to-date travel books for planning possible excursions.

The location basically in the center of everything was great for us. Had an enjoyable breakfast with granola, sweet cakes plus fresh coffee. We stayed for trip and would definitely come back there.

Convenient city center location, 2 min from Duomo. Perfect for exploring by foot or bike. Suzanne is an excellent receptionist, providing great recommendations. Room is small but functional for a short stay. Basic breakfast, but homemade cappuccino. Highly recommended for a central stay!

Location close enough to 'down town' Florence, Il Bargello during the day, and all the best sights. Reasonably large room with a large bathroom and it's own balcony and terrace. Food was great, staff was superbly friendly.

Our stay at Il Bargello was fantastic. The location was perfect for exploring the sights of Florence. The room was cozy and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having a terrace where we could relax in the evenings. The breakfast was delicious, with a homemade cake every morning. The staff, especially Suzanne, was accommodating and friendly, providing us with great recommendations for our time in the city. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.
